This gallery is a collection of my work from above. While I spend much of my time walking the polders, taking my drone into the air allows me to uncover a hidden dimension of the Belgian landscape. From an aerial perspective, the world is stripped down to its quietest elements: geometry, texture, and light. I am drawn to the abstract patterns carved where water meets land, from the rhythmic tidal veins of the Scheldt to the sharp, graphic contrast of snow on polder mud. These views reveal a structured beauty and a sense of order that remains entirely invisible from the ground.
This approach to drone photography is about finding the extraordinary within the familiar. It has earned me several prestigious recognitions in international and national photocompetitions, proving that our own local landscapes hold world-class artistry if we only change our point of view.
