WINTER IN GRAN PARADISO
I discovered Gran Paradiso National Park only a few years ago, yet I fell in love with it immediately. The pure mountain air, the songs of birds, the presence of ibex and foxes, and the quiet rhythm of alpine life created a deep and lasting connection from my very first visit.
I mainly visit the park in winter, when fewer people are present and snow transforms the landscape into something pure and minimal. Covered in white, the mountains become calmer, simpler, and more intimate — allowing space for silence, observation, and reflection.
Through my camera, I explore its many faces — from intimate telephoto portraits that reveal the character of its wildlife, to wide-angle images that capture the grandeur of its frozen valleys and peaks. Each approach allows me to tell a different part of its story.
This project is my way of celebrating the beauty, fragility, and quiet strength of this extraordinary environment. Every photograph reflects a moment of respect, patience, and admiration for a place that continues to inspire me.
I invite you to experience Gran Paradiso through my eyes — a winter world where nature reveals its most essential and timeless form.
