THE VOSGES
My photographic journey in the Vosges Mountains in France is driven by atmosphere and emotion. This region, shaped by soft ridgelines and deep forests, reveals its true character in moments of changing light, drifting clouds, and quiet solitude.
I am especially drawn to the valleys when they fill with mist and low clouds, transforming familiar landscapes into dreamlike scenes. These fleeting conditions create a sense of mystery and calm, where mountains seem to float and time feels suspended.
Among this shifting scenery, the chamois hold a special place in my work. Observing and photographing them in their natural environment is both a challenge and a privilege. Their agility, alertness, and presence add life and rhythm to the stillness of the mountains.
Through my camera, I seek to capture both the softness of the Vosges and its hidden strength — from intimate wildlife portraits to wide-angle views shaped by weather and light.
I invite you to step into this world of clouds, forests, and quiet encounters, and to experience the Vosges as I see them: subtle, atmospheric, and endlessly inspiring.
